Last year, we partnered with Waterfall Arts to present a free summer concert with the WHAT CHEER? BRIGADE to celebrate their 10th year in Belfast. We had so much fun, we decided to do it again! You can expect stellar live music, delicious food (John's Ice Cream and Sweet Henry's will be there!), art making, and all sorts of fun for all ages.
STARCROSSED LOSERS (Maine)
Starcrossed Losers is an alt-folk-rock band based out of Portland, ME. Their dynamic performances range in style from stripped-down acoustic balladry and love-lorn parlor laments to old-school rock'n'roll, gritty gypsy-blues and distorted proto-punk. Weaving together these seemingly disparate musical forms with an attitude both emotive and playful, this 6-piece ensemble reflects the angst and longing of spirits bound by human form.

WILLIAM JIORDAN (Maine)
William Joseph Jiordan is the musical moniker of Maine musician/vegetable farmer William Giordano. His songs weave mythical New England characters, often farmers and sea folk, into a voice for or the hopeful generosity of humanity. Jiordan will be performing a winter’s worth of new songs and characters accompanied by bassist Ross Gallagher (Luminist, Ross Gallagher), drummer Joe Perullo (Starcrossed Losers, Sea for Miles), and Estelle Poole (Is She?) on guitar, synth, and vocals.
Ever active in a career split between food production and artistic production Jiordan has performed as a member of the Blue Hill-based dance band the Living Daylight, co-founded the folk ensemble O Deer!, collaborated the Terra Diddle Collective and the LEAP Dance Theater, and recently released a live E.P. with the dreamcountry band DYADO.
